Our Healthcare Student Scholarship Program funds full annual tuition and student housing costs for Malawians with hopes and ambitions to become healthcare professionals. Click here to learn about the origins of this program. We support students who have been accepted into certificate, diploma, or degree programs at Malawi's College of Health Sciences. Since we are not a nonprofit, your donation is not tax deductible. However, we collaborate directly with the College Registrar's Office to guarantee that 100% of your donation, less credit card processing fees, provides complete tuition and student housing scholarships for students with the greatest need. We happily accept donations of any size, though for your reference, the total cost of each student's annual tuition and student housing is $610. Diploma programs are three years long and certificates two years. We will provide you with thank you letters written by students you support. You may also communicate directly if you prefer. Together, we can provide more trained professionals, improving access to life-saving healthcare across Malawi.
Upon graduation, "our" students are required to complete a two-year commitment in a public hospital or health facility within Malawi. This essential post-graduation period not only reinforces practical skills but also ensures that underserved communities receive much-needed medical attention. This experience also fosters a deep sense of responsibility and commitment to the public health sector.
